In 2016, Griffen & Stevens litigated a serious case involving over $200,000 in restitution, winning a permanent dismissal. This was the third time that Griffen & Stevens succeeded in getting the case dismissed. It started when our Client was charged with recklessly and severely injuring another person. The original case was dismissed when Griffen & Stevens demanded a trial. Then, the case was refiled, and due to an error by the State, Griffen & Stevens obtained a second dismissal. Finally, the State filed the case a third time, and after aggressive litigation, Griffen & Stevens obtained a third dismissal, this time with prejudice.
